Rick was able to come home for Memorial Day weekend. Boy, were we busy! After we picked him up at the bus station, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and then to Toys-R-Us. Then the honey-do list began - weed eat, mow, till the garden, plant the squash and pumpkins, get the Dells coupon books, carry bins to the basement, shot the hydrogen rocket off, played on the slip-N-slide (the 1st one was ripped-so we used it for a day and then returned for a different one), went to church, played at the park, went to the Dairy Fair, went for a walk, grilled out and just enjoyed having Dad home. Now Rick's gone for 3 weeks - it sure will be quiet around here.

Didn't know Rick would be gone for 3 more weeks.
The Slip N Slide looks like it will be fun for the boys all summer.
And one must go to the ice cream place to complete any day.
Rick found out a few days before he came home that he'd be going back. : (
We wanted to put up our pool for the summer, but the kids and I wouldn't be able to keep the chemicals up - so we'll have the slip-n-slide to keep us cool.
The ice cream part sounds great! ; )
Wow! Those were a couple of BUSY days! Hope the 3 weeks go by fast!
